Our History

Deyel Publishing had its start in 2005. The company was started by author Khalid Bey. Khalid knew that starting his own company was the only way that he would be free to say whatever he wanted, without censor.

Khalid El Bey attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia as a Sociology Major and Ashworth College in Norcross, Georgia as a Psychology Major.

He studied history and law at the Moorish New Age Institute and also on his own for over 10 years. He has studied the occult, including Astrology and Numerology.

He is the Co-founder of the Creative Research Society, whose main focus is the re-education of the so-called African American. He also is or has been a member of a number of "stealthy" organizations, including Prince Hall Freemasonry, Scottish Rite Masonry, the Ancient Primitive Rite of Memphis & Misraim, the OTOA and charitable organizations like Rotary International, where he is the '07-'08 President of the Syracuse Inner City Rotary Club.

Mr. Bey has lectured at a number of colleges and universities, as well as community events along the East Coast and in the Midwest, and has spoken extensively about the true origins of Man, Man's personal identity and human relationships. Adding to his experience is his exploration of religion, esoteric psychology, cabalistic studies, Egyptian and Taoist alchemy.

Mr. Bey is also an active member of a few community organizations in Syracuse, NY, where he's located. He is the President and Spokesperson for the Southside Community Coalition, Inc., Co-President of the 4th District socio-political organization and even made a run for political office in Syracuse in 2005.

On October 22, 2007, Khalid Bey was ordain a sub-Deacon, a Deacon, a Priest and was further consecrated a Bishop of Apostolic and Gnostic Succession.

"In order to change the world, all one has to do is change his mind", says Mr. Bey.

Stay tuned,  for Deyel Publishing provides the light that will guide us into our future.
